Certikin Wide Angled Pool Skimmer 4.5 m³/hour
The Certikin Wide Angled skimmer is available for concrete and liner pools with either flap or floating collar weir.
Designed to remove floating debris from the water surface quietly and efficiently.
The Wide angled extension throat part of the skimmer dictates if it is a concrete or liner installation.
Polymer or inslulated panel pool kits generally require the skimmer wide angled mouth to be passed from inside the pool through the wall then the standard part of the skimmer glued to join the two halves of the skimmer together.
This process is technically challenging, and you MUST water test the throat joint 24 hours after glueing to ensure your throat does not leak.
You will have to bung off the bottom of the skimmer, then either gaffer tape up the mouth or install a blanking piece of liner material held in place by the gasket & clamp plate.
This test MUST be carried out to ensure a water tight skimmer, but as the skimmer can hold around 20 litres of water, it is recommended to support the weight of the skimmer from below to stop it being snapped by the weight of test water.

Extension throats allow the skimmer body to be positioned ANY DISTANCE from the pool wall – ideal when using an automatic pool cover or when designing a pool with an ornate surround.
As this section tends to give our clients the most confusion when ordering we have colour coded the products – Concrete Tiled, Painted or Marbalite/Pacelite Skimmers or associated parts are colour coded Lime Green. Liner or GRP Skimmers or associated parts are colour coded Violet. The red colour shows the important detail sometimes overlooked.
Certikin Skimmer Code definitions:HD100N – Standard Skimmer with a flap weir for Concrete Tile, Painted or Marbalite Pools.
HD100SN – Standard Skimmer with a floating weir collar for Concrete Tile, Painted or Marbalite Pools.
HD100LAK – Liner Adaptor Kit – Converts both of the above skimmers from Concrete Finish to Liner Finish.
