Relax Spa Hot Tub Hardness Plus – 1kg
Relax Spa Hot Tub Hardness Plus – 1kg – Rapid dissolving granules to increase the hardness levels in your hot tub.
Your Spa needs to contain a Calcium hardness of between 200 parts per million (ppm) and 300ppm. Low Calcium levels (soft water) will cause expensive damage to your spa equipment. This is particularly important if your tap water is soft water (low in Calcium
When? – Test the Calcium Hardness immediately after you have drained & refilled your spa water and at least once per week if the level is below 200ppm then add as follows.
How?
1 – Pre-dissolve the required amount of Hardness Plus in a clean, plastic bucket filled with warm water. Stir the solution until the granules are fully dissolved.
2 – Ensure that your spa circulation pump is turned on before slowly pouring the solution directly onto your spa water surface.
3 – Continue to run your spa circulation pump for at least 15 minutes. The water may temporarily cloud after using this product.
4 – Re-test your spa water and repeat dosage until a Calcium Har4dness reading of between 200ppm & 400ppm is achieved.
5 – Allow 15 minutes before using your spa.
6 – Applying Hardness Plus can result in temporary cloudiness of your spa water.
How Much? – As a general guide, a heaped teaspoon holds 8g of granules.
Spa water volume –
1000 litres dose 15g of Hardness Raiser to raise the by 10ppm
1500 litres dose 28g of Hardness Raiser to raise the by 10ppm
2000 litres dose 30g of Hardness Raiser to raise the by 10ppm
General Precautions:
Dosing:
· Wear eye and face protection and ensure granules are not blown back into your face.
· Never mix with any other chemicals including cleaning products and chlorine products, as a dangerous reaction may occur.
· When pre-dissolving product always add to water not vice versa.
Handling/Storage:
· Handle products in a well-ventilated area, preferably outdoors.
· Wash hands after use.
· Ensure chemicals do not become damp in storage – store in a cool dry place.
Risk:
· Harmful if swallowed.
· Contact with acids liberates toxic gas.
· May cause sensitisation by inhalation and skin contact.
Safety:
· Keep locked up and out of reach of children.
· If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show this container or label.
· Keep container dry.
· Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately
with plenty of water and seek medical advise.

If you are unable to thoroughly check your delivery upon receipt, sign for it as UNCHECKED. If the package is damaged in any way, no matter how small, please sign for it as DAMAGED. We CANNOT CLAIM from our carriers for any damaged items that have not been signed for as UNCHECKED or DAMAGED.

If you sign for a delivery as OK, which you later find to be damaged, our carriers WILL NOT accept liability and you may be charged for the damaged items, in this case a delivery charge for replacement items WILL be made.
