Aquacheck TruTest Spa
Tests for Bromine, pH and Total Alkalinity Test Strips x 25 (initial fill).
The Aquacheck TruTest Spa Digital Test Strip Reader is for spa owners using bromine, the red TruTest Spa meter provides an easy and clear digital readout. Simply dip a test strip, place on the test strip reader, and your results will be displayed. Refills available.
In general, results are comparable to other visual testing methods obtained by a person with good color matching ability. When the water sample being tested is near or outside of the range of results boundaries, results may not reflect actual water conditions, chemistry problems or questionable results occur.
To keep your pool at its best, test at each end a minimum of twice a week, and test your spa before each use. Its also a good idea to write down your results each time you test.
Comes with complete instructions.
pH – in the range of 6.2 – 8.4, ideal range between 7.2 – 7.6
Bromine – in the range of 0 – 20, ideal range between 3 – 5ppm
Total Alkalinity – in the range of 0 – 240 ppm – ideal range between 80 – 120 for pools.
TA is defined as dissolved solids such as lime stone, calcium etc keeping your TA lower will reduce the build up of lime scale on the surfaces of the pool & associated filtration equipment, especially direct fired gas boiler heat exchangers or electric element heaters such as Elecro heaters or Thermalec heaters. If you are not sure if you are in a high TA area, simply inspect the inside of your kettle to see if there is a large build up of scale.
Application Instructions:
1. Press Power ON
Turn Unit ON by pressing power button. Display will read ‘On”
2. Press start button and dip a strip at the same time.
Remove test strip immediately and shake excess water from strip with a simple flick of the wrist.
3. Place tip of strip in back end of channel, lay flat, pad side down.
DO NOT SLIDE THE TEST STRIP ACROSS THE GLASS
4. Now Wait for Results. (Do Not Hold onto Strip)
Digital Results for Bromine, pH, and Total Alkalinity will appear together in seconds.
Check the status of your results for each parameter.
The status LO=Low, OK=Ideal,
HI= High is displayed to the left of each digital value.
Important: Keep cap on tight between uses.
Store at room temperature.

This product is fully CE approved, but as a chemical based product returns are restricted, and the means of return have to be approved by us, prior to the item being returned due to the nature of these goods.

Orders placed before 2pm Monday to Friday we aim to dispatch on the same day, after 2pm will be the following working day. This does not include Bank Holidays, which are classed as non-working days. Please ensure you leave detailed information if your delivery address is hard to find or a new housing development. If you know there is a possibility of missing the delivery, you can at the checkout stage leave instructions for the delivery driver to leave without signature and place your goods with a neighbour or in a discreet place out of sight for your later retrieval.

Please note some areas including Scotland(post codes AB, FK, IV, KW, PA, PH, HS, KA, ZE, TR, DD, PH, PA, KY, AB, DD, KW, IV, HS), Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, will need extra carriage. We no longer ship to Jersey, Guernsey or Northern Ireland.

If you are unable to thoroughly check your delivery upon receipt, sign for it as UNCHECKED. If the package is damaged in any way, no matter how small, please sign for it as DAMAGED. We CANNOT CLAIM from our carriers for any damaged items that have not been signed for as UNCHECKED or DAMAGED.

If you sign for a delivery as OK, which you later find to be damaged, our carriers WILL NOT accept liability and you may be charged for the damaged items, in this case a delivery charge for replacement items WILL be made.
