I have recently installed in inground liner pool and am loosing water. I have so far done the following in order to try and establish where the leak is.
Filled the pool up to half way up the skimmer and turned the pump off for 24 hrs, the water dropped to just within an inch of the bottom of the skimmer throat. Turned the pump on and the water level continues to drop. Does this indicate that the leak is in the pipework, and if so how can I test for which of the pipes may be leaking, low suction or return? Or could it be something esle entirely? Is there a product available that will seek out a leaking pipe and fix it and if so how does it work. I would estimate that the rate of loss when the pump is on is about 2 inches over a 24 hr period if that's of any significance.
Any advice gratefully accepted.
Thanks
