pump placement

Hi i have just finished building a small pool 5m+4m and now what to fit the pump would it be allright to place it just below finished water level of pool

It is always best to have the pump situated below water level.

This creates a "flooded" system, ie the pump doesn't have to work as hard to move the water. :)
