Can anyone recommend a maintenance book?

I am going to visit a friend in Spain who had a new pool installed last October and he has asked if I can take him a book on pool maintenance in English {as his manual is in Spanish}
Can anyone recommend an easy to follow book and tell me where I can purchase from before 18th Feb?

Hi,
I have just bought a house with a pool and am struggling a bit with the maintenance - my pool has quite high Ph and is a bit green. Do I need to shock it? What is the best chemical to use to do this? If you have a basic maintenance book please could you send it to me too?

I would very much appreciate any help, as I have recently purchased a house with an intex above ground 18ft x 3ft pool left by the previous owner. I have found various chemicals and also a box which is opened a ‘Bioguard Starter kit’, all items in the box are unopened but there does not seem to any instructions except those on the containers themselves. I actually asked the previous owner what I should do to start the pool from fresh in the spring and how to maintain the pool to a safe level to use throughout the summer and he didn’t have a clue, I believe it was all guess work with him. What I am looking for is either instructions from yourself on how to use the starter kit or a link where I may find some information on my problem.

I would appreciate any help you may be able to offer as I am having problems finding any information about this and have been told if these chemicals are not used properly they could be dangerous.
