Hello,
I have a 32 x 16 in ground pool, and I am looking to buy probably a Laars Lite 175 to replace my existing household type boiler. I have always thought that you should not use copper piping anywhere in the system, as it will react with the chemicals in the water, but I see that the Laars uses a copper heat exchanger. Should I be worried by this? Assuming this is OK, does that mean I can safely use copper solar panels without using a stainless heat exchanger?

Secondly, I have come across some statements on the internet, saying that some suppliers have stopped selling the Laars Lite models, because of their unreliability. Does anyone have any information to back this up please?

Thank you for your help.
