Can somone please tell me about heaters i'm ready to buy??

I have a 12 foot round 4 foot deep pool and i need to heat it??

All i need to know is cost per heater???

SOLAR - OIL - ELECTRIC - GAS

Whats the best one to go for??

Hi Seme

Really depends what type of pool you have.

For the Splasher, Frame Pool and Quick Up type pools the 3 Kw Elecro Heater (£198.00) would be ideal. Although it is impossible to give an accurate running cost, as this is very much dependant on many things i.e positioning of pool, use of covers, frequency and number of swimmers etc, you could use a guide line of 21p per hour for a 3Kw heater. Initially you would need to keep the heater on constantly (2/3days) after which it could be used on Economy Seven Electricity, the heaters are fitted with thermostats though.

For the more "more permanent" above ground pools that like the Regatta and Equinox you could you use any of the other forms of heating - see http://www.ukpoolstore.co.uk/acatalog/swimming-pool-electric-gas-oil-pool-heaters.html for more detail, you will also see a heater sizing chart that you can use as a guide.

really you need a budget first do you want it on the cheap first ie cheap heater higher running cost or expensive initial outlay followed by low running cost? i.e heat pump ;)
