Hi

I have got a 12ft above ground easy set pool (30 inches deep).

I have just bought some shock treatment and chlorine. Can anyone tell me how much and how often I should use then as the sales man (boy) has not given me in any confidence with what he advised.

Shock - 4 capfuls once a week and dont use the pool for 24 hours after treating.

Chlorine - 4 tablespoons once a week.

Both dissolved before adding to pool.

The make of them are Sunspot (quick shock plus)

Hi mum,
If you need to order one of these above ground pool chemical stater packs, you can follow this link.

You just need to scroll down the page to find the kit on the left at £32.

Thanks for the info, however I really dont want to be buying more chemicals this year as I plan to empty the pool around mid september and put away until next year.

So can anyone give me a rough guide using the chemicals i already have please?
