hello ,angela here, my pools the same as yours,i bought a 3kw heater off ukpools web for 198.00 and it heats great.the pump and heater are on 24/7. it takes around two days to heat up good, and once its to the right temp(which you can set yourself on the dial on the heater)it goes on standby, and then keeps the pool warm and comftable.hope this helps angela.

Hi Angela

It is impossible to give an accurate quote on cost of running your heater because it is dependant on so many things, i.e. ambient weather conditions, use of covers, number of swimmers and frequency of use not forgetting , of course, where the pool is sited. As a rough guide, however, 1 kw of electricity will cost on average 7 pence, therefore your 3kw heater will cost approximately 21 pence per hour to run.

Hope this helps, and that you keep nice and warm in your pool.
