Please help because i am puzzled! many thanks

we get air locks in our pump to sometimes, but a wiggle and a shake usually sorts that out,. Where is your pump? do you have it on the ground? we had it on a raised ledge and that caused air locks too, maybe putting it lower may help?

Hi,

It could be that in both cases the particles that are causing the cloudiness in your pool ar too small and could even be passing through your filter cartridge.

You should try a liquid clarifier that will help to bind up the smaller particles, helping the filter cartridge to catch them.

As always, you will find the clarifier on our online store

Have checked the PH etc and all spot on. I then shocked the pool and now find that the pool is cloudy.
Could anyone tell me if this is normal after shocking as can't remember it going cloudy last time, (only shocked once as new pool owner)
Do I just need to add clarifier?
Are there 2 types of clarifier, its just that I have some clarifier for our hot tub but this uses Bromine and on the label it says not to be mixed with chlorine products.
Any help greatly appreciated.
