Swimming Pools are really fun.
Let’s not forget that; the point of a pool is that we want to socialise, exercise and most of all have fun. However, it’s always important to keep safety in mind, especially if you have younger children in the family.
We don’t want to be doom-mongers and quote figures about pool safety etc, but the fact remains that water needs to be respected. Whether you’re swimming in the ocean, the backyard pool or even just having a soak in the bathtub – accidents can happen. Now, we have pools and hot tubs etc so that we can enjoy them, relax, have fun and de-stress. The last thing you want is to be worrying about the safety of those around you, so it’s important to make sure your pool is up to safety standards at all times. Remember, it’s not just when you’re using the pool – pool safety is 24/7/365.
With that in mind, we put together a nice little infographic with some safety advice. Our customer e-mail this month also has some great links to top safety products. For example, the Immerstar Pool Alarm, a Rollaway Fence and of course, the symbol of water safety worldwide – the life ring.
Have a look at our Pool Safety section to make sure your pool is a safe environment – and therefore a fun environment for all.
